USE-CASE: GMAIL
Stop searching "receipt", "invoice", and "payment" in your Gmail search bar at the end of every month. MailTract's background engine filters out the noise and extracts only real financial documents.
A month of business email typically contains thousands of messages, of which only a few dozen matter to your books. Order confirmations, shipping updates, and marketing emails all look like receipts to a keyword search — which is why exporting Gmail to Excel by hand takes hours and still misses things.
MailTract is a Gmail invoice parser built for exactly this. Connect with Google's read-only scope, choose a date range, and the engine scans in the background: it classifies each message, downloads attachments from Gmail automatically — PDFs, photos (including iPhone HEIC), Word and Excel files — and extracts the financial data from real invoices and receipts only.
Every extraction is validated (Net + VAT = Gross, to the penny), deduplicated by file hash, and anything uncertain is flagged for your review rather than silently dropped. The result: automated Gmail receipts, delivered as a formatted Excel workbook or synced as draft expenses to your accounting software.
A 5-sheet .xlsx workbook with a transactions ledger, VAT breakdown, exceptions log, and audit trail.
Scans run in the background and are resumable — years of history are fine.
Schema-enforced extraction with arithmetic validation. Uncertain documents are flagged, never guessed.
