LEGAL / TERMS
Last updated: 1 August 2026
MailTract scans mailboxes you connect, extracts financial documents, validates them, and delivers the results as Excel exports or as draft expenses to destinations you configure. You must be authorised to connect any mailbox you connect and to grant MailTract read access to its contents.
Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and use the service for lawful business purposes only.
MailTract validates extractions (arithmetic checks, duplicate detection) and flags anything uncertain for review, but automated extraction can contain errors. The service produces working papers, not filed returns: you (or your accountant) are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for tax, accounting, or any other purpose. MailTract does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.
No attempts to breach security, no connecting mailboxes you have no right to access, no reselling the service without agreement, and no use that violates applicable law.
The service is currently offered free of charge during early access. We may introduce paid plans with reasonable notice; features may change during the beta period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Questions: support@mailtract.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
