Every expense on one ledger: date, supplier, VAT number, category, net, VAT, gross, currency — each row linked back to its source email, so any figure can be traced to the document it came from in one click.
Totals grouped by VAT rate, supplier, and month, built with real Excel formulas — change a figure after review and the totals recalculate. Multi-rate invoices (20% / 5% / zero-rated on one document) are split line-by-line.
Spend concentration at a glance: totals and document counts per supplier, so recurring costs and anomalies stand out before your accountant asks.
A dedicated sheet for anything that needs a human: missing VAT numbers, arithmetic that doesn't reconcile, unreadable or unsupported files. MailTract never silently drops an email — if it's uncertain, it's here.
A SHA-256 hash and extraction timestamp for every document. If a number is ever questioned, you can prove exactly which file it came from and when it was read.
